I am a dual race poster.?
I must admit- I post questions and answers using two different avatars. One is white, one is black.
I have noticed that in most sections of Yahoo answers, the white avatar gets a lot of thumbs up and best answers, while the black avatar gets a lot of thumbs down, and a lot of nasty responses.
But, when I post here (Cultures & Groups), it is the white avatar that gets the abuse, and the black avatar gets thumbs up.
Does anybody have any theories that might explain this phenomenom?

It's clear in C&G that a black answerer would get more sympathy/support just because of the color of its digital skin. I think white people consider black people to be the experts. Or, more likely, they don't want to dispute any point they might make because of being afraid of being called a racist. You could be like "why does the white man always *something outrageous*" and people would be like o.O ok staying away from that one....
